Who was the site for?

My client works with people to make them happy whether that be selling advice or advising vacation spots. I went with a design that was serious and colorful at the same time. I think it came out well.

What did I learn?

I learned more about the template system from Wordpress. I built the theme from the ground up. Sure I could use someone else's theme and customize it a little but there is no fun in that. I want to learn every bit about Wordpress since it's so popular and in this project, I learned why - it's pretty easy to work with. And usually, when you start with a theme with a lot of work already done to it, it gets tedious to work with.

What did I use?

I used Wordpress on their site. They were unsure what features they wanted for their website. I asked about this - they said maybe. I asked about this - they said probably not but maybe. It was a lot of "I am not sure what I want." Wordpress is great for them because they can hire a developer in the future who knows Wordpress. They also can customize their website by themselves without anyone else's help. Wordpress is great when you have no idea what you are doing.
